A growth and conditioning formula designed for insectivorous and carnivorous freshwater fish.
Information
This product is designed as a “recovery formula” for malnourished and stressed imported specimens, as well as for conditioning broodstock. It is also great for raising fry. This formula is high in fat and not suitable as a staple diet for most species.
Feeding Guide
As a Gel

Bring water to a boil on the stove, in the microwave, or using a kettle.

Pour boiling water into a bowl and immediately stir in the powder (1 part powder to 2-3 parts water).

Let cool or immediately pour into a mold. The gel will set at room temperature.

Cut into pieces or make into a slow-release jerky.

Once made, treat the gel as fresh food and store it in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or in the freezer for up to six months.
As Jerky

Prepare gel as above, pour into a deep container, and then cut gel into ¼-inch thick slices of desired size.

Completely dry in an oven or dehydrator at 150°F (65°C) for 8-12 hours (typical).
