Seachem Catappa Tea Bags contain Indian almond leaves (Terminalia catappa) in a convenient, filter-friendly bag. They release natural tannins and beneficial compounds that help recreate a blackwater environment, promoting natural conditions for many tropical fish and shrimp.

Directions
Boil Method:
Boil 1 tea bag in approximately 1 L (1 US quart) of water for about 10 minutes (or until the desired colour is achieved). Let cool and add the extract to the aquarium.
Direct Method:
Place 1 tea bag directly into the aquarium, sump, or filter for a slower release.
Suggested Dosage:
Use 1 tea bag per 40 L (10 US gallons), or adjust based on desired tint and effect.
Notes
- Activated carbon and other chemical filtration may remove tannins and reduce effectiveness.
- Add gradually and monitor pH, especially in softer water systems.
