Overview

Seachem Axolotl Buffer™ adjusts water pH to the ideal range of 7.4–7.6 for axolotls. It works from either low or high pH levels and softens water by precipitating calcium and magnesium. Safe and effective for all axolotls, it should be used alongside Axolotl Conditioner™ for chlorine/chloramine removal and ammonia detoxification, and Fresh Trace™ to restore proper trace elements.

Directions / Usage

Use 1 capful (5 mL) per 10 L (2.5 US gallons), dosing twice a week or as needed to maintain pH between 7.4 and 7.6.
May be added directly to the aquarium at any time.
Very hard water may require a double or triple dose.
