Overview
Alert Combo™ combines Seachem’s Ammonia Alert® and pH Alert® in one convenient pack. These compact sensors continuously monitor ammonia and freshwater pH without the need for chemicals or test procedures. At 1.5" × 2.5", they are small, clear, and unobtrusive, making them easy to place anywhere in the aquarium or filter without detracting from the view.

Ammonia Alert®
- Detects free ammonia concentrations below 0.05 mg/L (ppm)
- Sensor color changes reversibly from yellow → green → blue
- Response time: ~15 minutes for increasing ammonia; ~4 hours for decreasing ammonia
- Marine or freshwater use

Care
- Remove algae with a soft material; avoid touching the sensor with fingers
- Do not use bleach, soap, detergents, or hard objects
- Some dye medications may discolor the sensor
- Maximum sensitivity under natural or daylight-simulating light
- Test function by holding briefly over an ammonia source; color should develop rapidly
pH Alert®
- Continuously monitors pH between 5.4 and 8.0
- Sensor color changes reversibly from yellow → orange → red
- Initial response time: ~30 minutes; thereafter ~10 minutes
- Freshwater use only
Care
- Remove algae with a soft material; avoid bleach, soap, detergents, or hard objects
- Dye medications may discolor the sensor
- Read under natural or daylight-simulating light for accuracy
- Sensor exhaustion indicated by fading or washed-out color; replace when exhausted
