Overview
MultiTest™ Iron measures both ionic and most chelated iron to less than 0.05 mg/L in marine and freshwater aquaria. The kit uses a multi-cavity plate for up to 6 simultaneous tests and includes a reference sample for validation. It is ideal for planted aquaria where iron is essential for healthy plant growth.

Set-up / Use
- Iron is not critical in fish-only aquaria; levels above 0.5 mg/L may be toxic to some species.
- In seawater, natural iron concentration is approximately 0.01 mg/L and is difficult to maintain at measurable levels.
- In planted aquaria, maintain iron between 0.1–0.2 mg/L to support healthy plant growth.
- Use the included reference sample for accurate color comparison and test validation.
- Follow instructions carefully to ensure reliable results.
