Overview
Flourish Phosphorus™ is a phosphorus supplement for the planted aquarium, providing a safe 4,500 mg/L solution of potassium phosphate. It allows precise dosing of phosphorus without introducing additional nitrate, preventing nutrient imbalances. Flourish Phosphorus™ supports healthy plant growth, helping prevent stunted growth and dark green foliage associated with phosphorus deficiency. For best results, use in conjunction with Flourish Nitrogen™ and Flourish Potassium™. It is safe for invertebrates such as shrimp.

Directions
Beginner:
- Use 2.5 mL (½ cap) per 80 L (20 US gallons) once or twice a week, or as needed in response to signs of phosphorus deficiency (e.g., stunted growth, dark green foliage).
Expert:
- Beginner dose raises phosphorus by ~0.05 mg/L (0.15 mg/L phosphate). Ideal phosphate levels generally range 0.15–1.0 mg/L.
- Use MultiTest™ Phosphate to monitor phosphate levels.
- To target a specific phosphate increase: 0.8vp = m, where v = tank volume in gallons, p = desired phosphate increase (mg/L), m = product volume in mL.
- Example: to raise 20 gallons by 0.1 mg/L phosphate: 0.8200.1 = 1.6 mL.
