Overview
Flourish Iron™ is a highly concentrated (10,000 mg/L) iron supplement for planted aquaria, providing ferrous gluconate as the source of iron. Ferrous iron is immobile in plants, so deficiency symptoms appear first in new or young leaves, often as chlorosis (yellowing) between veins and short, slender stems. Unlike ferric iron or iron-EDTA products, Flourish Iron™ delivers iron in the ferrous form, which is readily absorbed by plants without additional energy expenditure. Ferrous gluconate is also well-suited for foliar feeding and provides a minor carbon source.

Directions
- Use 1 capful (5 mL) per 200 L (50 US gallons) or as needed to maintain about 0.10 mg/L iron.
- For smaller doses, each cap thread is approximately 1 mL.
- Test iron levels using MultiTest™ Iron; due to rapid plant uptake, test within 30 minutes.
- Dose as required to address signs of iron deficiency (chlorosis of new leaves, short/slender stems).
