Overview
Discus Buffer® is designed to replicate the ideal environment for discus fish, providing low pH and soft water conditions. It lowers pH while softening water by precipitating calcium and magnesium. Use with Neutral Regulator® to fine-tune pH and with Discus Trace™ to restore essential trace elements. Safe for all freshwater fish acclimated to acidic pH.

Directions
- Use 1 level teaspoon (5 g) per 40–80 L (10–20 US gallons) daily until desired pH is reached.
- Thereafter, use once a month or with water changes to maintain pH.
- For precise dosing, use the Seachem Digital Spoon Scale.
- To raise pH, use Neutral Regulator®.
- To target a specific pH, use in combination with Neutral Regulator® according to the chart below (based on unbuffered RO or DI water):
