Description
Breeder Background:
My introduction into herpetoculture was a long-tailed grass lizard, followed quickly by a bearded dragon at 5 years old. I stayed invested in reptile keeping my entire childhood until my first achievement, producing my first litter of checkered garter snakes at 11 years old. I then started my career in zookeeping at 13 and continued gaining experience with other species whilst also growing my garter snake collection. I now possess a collection of snakes within the sub-family natricinae (garter snakes, water snakes and their relatives) and a varied group of other species used for outreach and other breeding projects.
In 2015, I founded Creature Crossing as a way to share my passion for reptiles and wildlife with others through educational outreach. Creature Crossing provides educational, fun, and interactive science-based programming fit for schools, events, birthday parties, and more, within the Cochrane District and surrounding areas. We strive to provide high-quality interactive, educational, and fun programs suitable for children as well as adults. Our programs are safe for all, inclusive, and comfortable for not only our audiences but also for our animals. We want to push for future generations to have a strong conservation-minded future, to better protect our environments and the creatures within them.
