American Cichlid Salt™ is a carefully balanced blend of salts designed to replicate the natural environment of American cichlids. It provides essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, and potassium, along with trace elements like iron, aluminum, and iodide. This salt affects general hardness (GH) without altering alkalinity (KH) or pH.

Directions
- All doses given per 110 L (30 US gallons):
- South American species: 2.5 g (1/2 teaspoon)
- Central American species: 1.25 g (1/4 teaspoon)
- Use when setting up an aquarium or during water changes.
- When adding to an established tank, base the dose on the volume of water being changed.
- Do not use when simply replacing evaporated water.
- Dissolve salt in freshwater before use for best results.
